Code of Conduct, Travel, and Competition Rules

 

1. Code of Conduct

 

To ensure a fair and professional environment, all participants, judges, and attendees must adhere to the following:

 

 1.1 Professionalism & Respect

 

- All participants must act with integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect.

- Discrimination, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated.

- Judges' decisions are final and should be respected.

 

1.2 Conduct During the Competition

 

- No excessive consumption of alcohol before or during the competition.

- No unsportsmanlike behavior towards fellow competitors, judges, or staff.

- Any form of cheating or rule violation will result in disqualification.

- No asking judges questions pertaining to the competition. 

 

1.3 Social Media & Public Representation

 

- Participants are obligated to post and repost all marketing material on schedule and minimum posting requirements. failure to do so will result revoked participation. This includes qualifiers, exhibitions, and Finals.

- Participants are expected to uphold the competition's values and sponsors values when posting on social media.

- Any offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content related to the competition will lead to revocation and or disqualification actions.

2. Travel Guidelines

 

2.1 Travel Arrangements

 

- Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements unless otherwise specified.

- Travel reimbursement (if applicable) must be pre-approved and will be subject to competition policies.

- Travel is provided to winner of qualifier by Rellies Hospitality. Round trip ticket and hotel stay. Competition winners within 250mi from finals city may be asked to use ground transportation. Rellies Hospitality will reimburse milage.

 

2.2 Accommodation

 

- If accommodations are provided, participants must adhere to check-in/check-out times.

- Any damages or disturbances in the provided lodging will be the responsibility of the participant.

 

2.3 Punctuality & Attendance

 

- Competitors must be present at all scheduled events, including briefings, educationals, and rehearsals.

- Late arrivals may result in disqualification or penalties.

3. Competition Rules

 

3.1 Eligibility

 

- Participants must be of legal drinking age in their respective country.

- Must be a registered bartender or mixologist affiliated with a recognized establishment. Some mobile bartenders will we allowed into the competition at organizers discretion.

- Participants must be able to travel to Atlanta Ga for the finals in October 2025

 

3.2 Cocktail Presentation

 

- Each competitor must prepare their cocktail within the given time limit.

- Cocktails must use ingredients provided or pre-approved by the competition organizers.

- All drinks must be made fresh, with no pre-mixing unless specified. (premade syrups are acceptable)

- 4 cocktails will be made. 3 for judges and one for pictures and for auction.

 

3.3 Prohibited Items & Actions

 

- No external assistance during cocktail preparation.

- No illegal substances or banned ingredients.

- No substitution of assigned spirits unless authorized.

 

3.4 Disqualification

 

A competitor may be disqualified for:

 

- Failing to meet time requirements.

- Violating any of the rules stated above.

- Engaging in any form of misconduct.

 

By participating in the MOYA National Cocktail Competition, all competitors agree to abide by these rules and uphold the integrity of the event.
